This is an interactive story:

YOU decide which path you take, what adventure you'll live in!

Luck and decisiveness will lead you through different texts and dangers.

But don't get caught by the wizard.

Good luck!

Really?
Yes!

With a jolt you awaken
In a room that seems barren.
Two doors stand before you.
Choose one. Here’s your cue.

German version - the above is only a very rough translation

EDIT: Thank you for all of your feedback! As you can see, I have updated the text with a new version. Thanks to the help of the marvellous FelicianoVargas8D and the amazing Elisha deogracias, it is now all in rhyme!
I would like to add that, while I think that it makes the text more interesting, it doesn't fix most problems you mentioned. It's not a good story and it wasn't supposed to be. =)

This particular part of the interactive story has been translated and re-written by FelicianoVargas8D.

As I said, this is just a rough translation. The original is in rhyme.

This sure took me back to the Choose Your Own Adventure books of my childhood! I spent many days of summer vacation trying to get through even one without dying! I had similar luck with your own adventure Wink/Razz

Very well made, and the occasional artwork was a nice touch.
