OK, where does this come from? Apparently, this kind of monster is called a Rokurokubi.
Hmm. Oh, yeah, right, there was this game I played a lot back when I had an iPod touch: Rhythm Spirit - I love it! And of course, there was a Rokurokubi, among other monsters, spirits and gods taken from Japanese (?) mythology.
Tell me what you think and what kind of thing you'd like to see in the future.

Oh man whoa this is weird. This reminds me how I got hooked on looking at all your animations when you were doing the daily challenges. It can be hard to stop looking at such things once you get started, but I gotta also finish my reply to you, and I got a lawn that needs mowing and Olympics that need watching. But there's also another animation that needs Commenting, so there's that, too. Better do that first. 
And this reminds me of those weird Japanese things with the long necks, so I guess it's one of those creepy things, since you mentioned Japanese.
